Presidential Election: Bindow meets support group ahead of LG official’s inauguration

A political support group of Adamawa’s immediate past Governor, Senator Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow had a round table meeting ahead of the 2023 general elections.

The group under the auspices of Bindow Support Group (BSG) had the audience of its principal (Bindow) in his Yola residence where they discussed inauguration plans at a sooner possible date.

The BSG members who are coordinators of the group drawn from the twenty-one Local Government areas with their respective wards officials brainstormed on the coming presidential election that Bindow will soon give them a direction of who and where to go.

Senator Jibrilla while addressing them, he was emphatic to say that in his position as a senator to have represented the Northern zone and later served the state as an elected Governor God has willed him to be one of the political figures in the state.

By this Bindow means that he has chains of followers in all the political wards in the state and he can make a very great political decision on anyone, he decided to support as his presidential candidate. The

According to him, the inauguration is very important to enable them to start a campaign for his presidential candidate who he will announce soon.

He said Presidential campaigns are ongoing and his political thinking about who he will support is going to be a collective decision of many critical stakeholders not only in Adamawa state but in the entire country.

Senator Bindow also reminded them that he is still a member of APC irrespective of people’s divergent views of leaving the party for any other.

He charged them to go and make a good structure ward of officials that will be rooted in all the polling units for his presidential candidate to emerge.

The State coordinator of BSG, Abubakar Bakari intimated to the group coordinators that the aims and objectives of the group are the support agenda of Bindow as they follow his political line of thoughts.

The Local Government coordinators were in high spirits to go to any length preaching and canvassing Bindow’s decision.
