PROF TAHIR: THE RIGHT MAN FOR THE RIGHT JOB-TESTIMONY OF PEOPLE FROM NORTHERN SENATORIAL ZONE OF ADAMAWA

The expectations of people of Adamawa state Northern senatorial district is much very high,as many have the feelings that the representation is not being felt the way it should be from those occupying seats at the upper chamber of national Assembly.

Now there seems to be an out cry of change,a desire of new dawn of wanting to have new and more prefer of the Masse’s desire at the national assembly.

An indigene of Northern senatorial zone of Adamawa state who helds from Michika LGA, Professor Mamman Tahir,a season academia whose scholarly work on constitutional law is known world wide,a foremost lecturer at the university of Maiduguri,a former Director General of Nigerian Law school in Maiduguri and currently serving as a Vice chancellor of Baze university Abuja. After much pusuasion from notable men and women of the zone, he was oblidged to a beckon to contest the senatorial seat of the zone.

Of recent while in a visit to the five LGAs that’s made up the northern senatorial district of the State to declared and make his intention known to them. Intimating them of his readiness to join the race with those seeking the senatorial seat,the entire people of Maiha, Mubi South, Mubi north, Michika and Madagali seems to have a central message that their call to have Professor Tahir Mamman to chart and to be a new voice for the northern zone is a clarion call of both the Young and Old in the zone.

Extolling Tahir to be a freedom fighter,a great Man who answer the name of a Leader in all ramifications, an eagle who see farther to conceive a vision of a better Adamawa northern senatorial zone and indeed Nigeria, a dogged Man who is ready to fight and defend them at all cost, having great prowess to be the masses messenger.

According to most of them that witnessed the formal declaration of Tahir,they believe that the Professor Leader also believe in one Nigeria and a better Adamawa state, hence their prayers to have a Man like him to go and make vibrant and people oriented laws by God’s willing,he will be a Member at the Red (upper) chamber at the national assembly with good precisions in charting the way forward for Nigeria.

It was a grand reception accorded to Mamman by the people of Mubi North and Mubi South,the Party officials of All progressives Congress (APC), an umbrella party he is going to use as his plarform of campaign. The mammoth crowd welcome him in a honourable way right from the entrance of the town. Hundreds of vehicle filled up with people to welcome him shouting”sai Professor, we must change again,no sak this time around, the man of the Masses is around”as the led him to pay homage to the Emir of Mubi.

While At the Emir’s palace royal father Said Mamman need no any introduction as his name stand to be a household name by virtue of who he is.

According to him as a traditional ruler and a father to all he pray him success and victory in the coming elections.

A businessman in Mubi and a Party loyalist whose die hard support is for Tahir said:

“Mamman is the type of Men Buhari should work with, a Man that is international known as a university Don and achieve much in the Field of Law with proven records of integrity of all the offices he ever held.Adamawa people we should thank God that this Man has accepted our call to serve us,in fact he don’t need us to live, because he is already a success, but we need him to bring massive development in our zone because all around him success and goodness.

” He is known to be a Man unto good works,who is always finding ways to help people, I’m calling on all the electorates that please come and votes for this Man ,this is the time to pay back all the good things he has been doing to us.

“We call him to come and contest, let us use all we have to support him so that he will not be disgraced.”

The visit of Professor Tahir in Maiha was one of it’s kind,thouggh not an indigene of that LGA but they accorded him an honour of being a philanthropist who gave admissions to their sons and daughters that are now Strong voices in their respective careers, paying school fees of many less privileged students not only in Maiha but to so many Adamawa communities.

A woman who identified herself as Hajiya Aisha Lawal said Tahir does not need to tell them he has any interest to contest because they are the ones that call him to come and contest. Assuring him that hence they call him,they will certainly campaign for him.

“We are the voters, we know ourselves and we know where to go to beg for votes because of you, Tahir you are a good Man, your goodness speaks all the time,you are a better Man for this Job, we know you and we decided to say come and represents us because there is high missing link with our representatives.” She said

Koji Ayuba a youth seen chanting and canvassing support for him in Michika said Tahir is for the people and the masses have spotted him and decided to say “Tahir go and be our voice,tell the world our yearnings and our plights.” According to him no doubts and it’s not a story or propaganda that Mamman is their heart desire for them as a Senator come 2019 from the northern zone.

”My one prayers to God is for Him to grand us the people of Northern zone our heart desire. Mamman is a honest man and love everyone irrespective of one’s religion or even party inclination. I know the desire of the Masses shall be granted by the powers of God Almighty.” Koji Said

In Madagali is a song of success the electorates were singing, that a man of the masses has come,the liberator and burden Lifter has arrived.

All the five LGAs visited Party officials maintain to give support to him as his coming is adding much popularity and admirations to the Party. Assuring him of fair play to him and to other aspirants as Justice is the watch dog of APC.
