The General overseer of the Redeemed Christians Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye visited the Salvation Chapel of the National Institute for policy and Strategy Studies NIPSS) and offered special prayers for all the officials and Senior Executive Course participants (SEC), PSLC participants and many others.
He prayed that whatever is their problem God would take it away, and their enemies would not succeed in their desires against anyone of them.
“God because you asked me to come for this Bible studies, give them a testimony before this time around tomorrow.” He prayed
The Christian Elder Statesman prayed for them immediately he had a thirty minutes Bible study which he extensively talked on three categories of failures.
He took his root text from John 2:1-3
and explained that when there are no plans to succeed (Mathew 25:24) one is bound to fail.
Adeboye said when the preparation for success is insufficient (Mathea 25:1) an individual will certainly fall from all his or her plans to succeed.
While explaining the parable of the ten virgins, he said they were selected to go and receive the bridegroom, all qualified to be part of the wedding ceremony but some of them failed to succeed because the bridegroom was delayed: “They were prepared but the preparation was not sufficient.”
He further explained that there are situations one can still Fail despite all preparation (Lukek 5:1-5) .
He cited an example from the Apostle Peter who was a good Fisherman, ready to succeed, fished all through night to succeed yet failed: ” For the rest of your life you will not fail in Jesus name.” He prayed.
He charged that what believers are doing right now (Rev 3:15-18), either cool or hot determine the level of preparedness to succeed in their life time.
He called on worshipers to take a close look at their past and their immediate environment to succeed.
The Christian leader revealed that What turned the tight between the bride and the groom at the marriage ceremony in Canaan was that Jesus was there and showed up with Mercy
He stressed that if anyone wants to end well needs the mercy of God.
“Remember that if the Lord doesn’t show you Mercy you Shall not make it.” He said
NIPSS’ Director of Studies, Professor Funmilayo Para-Mallam represented the Director General of the Institution, Professor Ayo Omotayo who was unavoidable absent for official assignment, welcome Adeboye with an open arms of love and thanked him for coming around to be a blessing.
