He took his root text from John 2:1-3
and explained that when there are no plans to succeed (Mathew 25:24) one is bound to fail.

Adeboye said when the preparation for success is insufficient (Mathea 25:1) an individual will certainly fall from all his or her plans to succeed.

While explaining the parable of the ten virgins, he said they were selected to go and receive the bridegroom, all qualified to be part of the wedding ceremony but some of them failed to succeed because the bridegroom was delayed: “They were prepared but the preparation was not sufficient.”

He cited an example from the Apostle Peter who was a good Fisherman, ready to succeed, fished all through night to succeed yet failed: ” For the rest of your life you will not fail in Jesus name.” He prayed.

He charged that what believers are doing right now (Rev 3:15-18), either cool or hot determine the level of preparedness to succeed in their life time.
