Quality Products: De-Lace NIgeria Limited Receieves SON MANCAP Certificates

In view of its commitment in producing quality products that meet international standards, De-Lace NIgeria Limited has been presented with the Standards Organisation of NIgeria (SON), Mandatory Conformity Assessment Programme (MANCAP) Certificate.

Making the presentation to De-Lace and eight others on Monday in Kaduna, the Director General/Chief Executive of Standards Organisation of NIgeria (SON), Malam Farouk A. Salim tasked them to maintain set standards.

The Director General/Chief Executive of Standards Organisation of NIgeria (SON), Malam Farouk A. Salim has warned that companies that compromise standards after receiving the Mandatory Conformity Assessment Programme (MANCAP), would be sanctioned.

He explained that the MANCAP Certificates are being presented to beneficiaries to show to the world that their products have met the required standards.

Represented by the Regional Coordinator North West, Mr. U.S. Mohammed, he said that it also boosts marketing of their products because it shows that they have met the minimum standards.

Earlier in his welcome address, Kaduna State Coordinator SON, Mr. Q.M. Yahya said the idea behind MANCAP Certificates is to enhance loyalty and increase patronage for company’s that have confirmed to NIgeria’s industrial standards.

He said it ensures consumers get value for their money through quality and protection of lives.

In her remarks on behalf of the recipients, MD De-Lace Ltd, Sadiya Asabe Bashir assured their customers that they would always give them quality products like PPEs, doctors apparels, bed sheets, facemasks and others.

She was optimistic that soon, their products which can be found all over NIgeria, would soon become a global commodity as they push towards exporting to earn foreign exchange for the country.
