Heavy down pour has destroyed a number of houses including shops and Vehicles in yola metropolis in Adamawa state.
The rain which started about 6:25pm yesterday lasted for about 3 hours was described by some residents as the first rain that caused flooding in the state for this year.
The has caused traffic-jamb and most of the vehicles were chocked under water, thereby preventing vehicler movement and restricting other road users from reaching their destinations.
Our Correspondent confirmed that some affected residents while speaking to Radio Nigeria expressed fears that their houses may collapse as a result of over flooding, calling on the government to provide adequate drainages to avoid future re-occurrence.
