An Adamawa People’s Democratic Party (PDP) stalwart, Mohammed Chubado Murtala Modibbo has in the spirit of Ramadan distributed food items worth Millions of Naira to the Muslim Ummah in Adamawa Central Senatorial District.
The gesture which was done to help the Muslim Ummah in the zone to have a successful and rewarded fasting in the Ramadan period is a known routine of yearly kindness to both Christians and Muslims by Murtala according to a beneficiary,Danlami Damare.
Damare said that Chubado is one among few politician whose political ideology is service to the people and is cutting across all religions and tribes in Adamawa.
“I witnessed the distribution of two hundreds bags of sugar,over one thousand seven hundreds bags of Rice and food seasoning likes Maggi and oil, honestly our God will bless really good.
It’s not easy for someone who is not in power, who is not a political office holder to always do this,it must be a good Man and his heart is always with the people.” Damare Said
Chubado who was the Candidate of PDP in the last 2019 general election wished to have represented the people of Adamawa Central senatorial District said the gesture is to help the Muslim Ummah have a hitch free Ramadan fasting.
According to him Christians in the last Christmas celebration received the same gesture and feel it wise to equally do same for their Muslim Brothers and Sisters to show case the unity, love and peace the two religions both preaches.
