During a Ramadan fast breaking,the lawmaker representing Vere Constituency at the Adamawa state House of Assembly, Hon Abdullahi Umaru Yapak enjoined farmers and Farmers to peaceful coexist among themselves for a peaceful farming activities.
Yapak addressed over two hundreds Muslims faithfuls of his constituency while breaking of the 21st Ramadan fast at his residence in Yola.
According to him without Peace there cannot be good rainy season activities that will enhance a bumper harvest in the area that is predominantly farmers and herders.
“Ninety five percent of my people are either farmers or herders, the farmers/herders clashes are alien to our people who for decades are peace lovers coexisting with one another irrespective of religion or one’s way of economy activities.” Yapak said
Abdullahi also call on them to religious go for their voter’s cards to enable them exercise their franchise right in the forth coming 2019 general elections.
Yapak sermonise the administration of Gov Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow as the performing Messiah who if supported in the 2019 will do much more in the transformation agenda he set to achieve in the State.
He passionately make an appeal to them to continue praying for Gov Bindow and the entire administration of President Muhammadu Buhari for them to succeed.
Responding on behalf of the constituents, Alhaji Bala Jibrilla said Abdullahi is a lawmaker with different the constituency has ever produced, having exceptional qualities of a good leader that is being love by all.
He assures the member of supporting the government of Gov Bindow whose imprint of exemplified leadership is evidence in all parts of the State.
