Ramadan: Jamilu, Adamawa APC passionate supporter brainstorms with 21 LG party Chairmen over 2023 elections

An ebullient and Young All Progressives Congress (APC) passionate supporter in Adamawa, Jamilu Yusuf Danumma in the spirit of Ramadan engaged with the 21 local government party chairmen of the state.

Yusuf whose high spirit of supporting the opposition party in Adamawa state said his belief in the party’s manifesto, disposition , capability and wherewithal to win the 2023 elections is what is making him die-hard member of the party.

The party grassroots leaders met with Jamilu, at Madagu Hotel in Yola, where they discussed APC problems at local government levels and proffered Unity as a way forward and a solution to the success of the party in 2023.

Jamilu was praised to be a passionate lover of APC whose radiant face of hope is giving APC’s grassroots mobilizers undying hope that the party is truly a party for Adamawa people.

The Chairmen in their separate for Yusuf with no political aspirations but decided to call them to team up for the party in unity ought to be given a high commendation of an unrelenting party loyalist.

The meeting which was organized in the spirit of the Holy month of Ramadan has urged them to pray for the unity of the party in Adamawa State and for God to bless Nigeria with enduring peace building to the 2023 election.

According to Danumma, as a lover of APC whose enthusiasm is to see a power base shift from PDP to APC in 2023 with a huge landslide.

But he however said this can not be done without the critical stakeholders like the LG party Chairmen who will ensure credible and sellable candidates emerge as flag bearers of the party.

“I want to tell you that I’m not looking for any position, what I’m keen about is to help in strategic thinking and directly or indirectly working for our party to win elections come 2023.

” This is one of the reasons I call us here to brainstorm as stakeholders and critical party men of our party.

“Nobody can do without you, my call to you is to go back to your respective local government areas to support credible party men and women by asking them to venture into politics, let’s go and work toward getting people with the winning abilities, people with good records on the ground to use as our selling point to succeed. This is all that I called us here for, mine is to see the overall success of APC in the state because we are all in one way or the beneficiaries of the party. Other than this, I don’t have any agenda of whatever type.” Yusuf said

Describing the meeting as unique and a novelty coming from an innovative mindset, the party’s Association of the local government of Nigeria (ALGON) Chairman of the state, Alh Abubakar Audu said Jamilu is a Young Man with great wisdom of old men to must have thought of such a gathering at this material time.

According to him, APC ALGON as a party structure in Adamawa has never been invited to this kind of meeting by an independent and neutral person with no political agenda like Yusuf.

While praising the ingenuity of Jamilu, he said his selfless calls to stakeholders to support APC aspirants with the potential of winning have automatically made him a senior party man, he is no longer a young man as many will presume him to be.

In a way of appreciating the many sacrifices he has made in the interest of APC in Adamawa, the ALGON Chairman said from now on the honor Yusuf as their “super ALGON chairman” and formed the 22 APC chairman of the state.

Despite how Yusuf reiterated his stand to let them know that his mission is to make sure APC wins all elective positions in the state, the ALGON Chairman insisted that his type should not be allowed to contribute meaningfully from the back door. Hence he is calling on him to contest any election of his choice.

Audu said that the job of sieving and selecting good aspirants for replacing PDP in Adamawa is before them to suggest good politicians that are sellable enough to bring victory for the party at all levels.

“We are yet to get true leaders, we are all the time having selfish individuals who are not after the development of our party and state.” He said

Jamilu alongside APC Local Government Chairmen brainstormed, charted a way forward to bring the party on board to control the affairs of government in Adamawa, calling on all relevant stakeholders to sheath primordial interest, eschew selfish tendencies and glutton desire that will hampered the winning chances of the party.
