Ramadan: Let’s unite for the overall devt of Adamawa-Sen Bindow enjoins Mubi Youth

A call was made by Senator Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow, the immediate past Governor of Adamawa for the youth of Mubi to unite for the overall progress and development of the state.

Jibrilla made the call when the Youth under the auspices of Mubi Youths Banaki forum paid him a courtesy visit and had the Ramadan Fast breaking at Suhur time in his Mubi residence.

He advised the Youth to never involve in any form of political thuggery or be used as political weapons of war by anyone to score a cheap political game using them.

He said Mubi is a commercial area with a lot of opportunities as it attracts International traders and visitors seeing it a place with a high economic drive in Northern Nigeria.

“We should never hate ourselves because of politics, our parents were united to make Mubi what it is, we must also be united and live in peace, avoid hating ourselves over primordial issues of politics.

” Besides politics is all about interest, and we all know what is good for us when the political time has come.

“We all have to look inwardly to think about the progress and development of Mubi, I want you all to use this month of Ramadan to pray for our communities, our state, and the country at large for peace and the issues of insecurities to be a thing of the past.

” Mubi is blessed with both Islamic and academics scholars, it is a land blessed with wealthy individuals, it has some of the rich people in Northern Nigeria, as such we must pray for our land and the legacies planted in it must remain,” Umaru said

Bindow in the spirit of Ramadan prayed for the Land and enjoined them to continue in the spirit for Mubi to remain a blessed Land.

The forum officials which in the entourage had Yakubu Careca, Musa College, Uba Abba, and Bashir Ma’aji and many others appreciated the rare opportunity the former Governor accorded them.

Secretary of the Forum, Yakubu Careca told our reporter that they have never seen a humble Man like Senator Bindow, haven wined and dined with him at the suhur yours like any other.

He said this virtue of him has distinguished him and make him a unique leader Adamawa will always want to have.

He revealed that a special prayer will be made on his behalf all the time for God to keep on promoting him and making a desire for the people because he has shown himself a servant for the common man and a leader with selfless interest.
