Islamic adherents were enjoined in this Holy month of Ramadan to be passionate about the unity and peace of Nigeria.
The call was made by Adamawa State philanthropist, high entrepreneur of international repute, Abdullahi Ahmed Musa Speaker to leverage the availability of God’s mercy during the fasting period.

Perturbed over the many banditry attacks in some parts of the country, spades of kidnapping activities at an alarming rate Abdullahi said it takes only the intervention of God to wade off the menace.
He said the 2022 fasting period is another rare opportunity Muslim faithful have at their disposal to seek the intervention of God by praying fervently.
According to him, at this time God’s hand love, mercy, and compassion are reached enough to save Nigerians from these social menace plaques.
He worried that unity of purpose has suddenly disappeared from many parts of the country, leaving Nigerians with no sense and conscience of one another, a frightening stage placing the country to seat on a time bomb of disunity.
While calling on Muslims to love and extend their hand of friendship to all and sundry alive he also enjoined non-Muslims to pray alongside their Muslim faithful in their respective places of worship.
“We are no doubt living in precarious and perilous times it only takes the intervention of God himself to save Nigerians from the wiles of the devil using insecurity to cause disharmony among Nigerians,” Musa said
Ahmed called on believers to passionately pray for the leaders of this country, knowing the fact that the 2023 elections are much drawing closer as Nigerians are anticipating casting their votes.
Wishing the people of Adamawa state a successful and rewarding Fasting period, Musa who is a hopeful Senatorial aspirant said the prayers of the believers at this time will be answered with good leaders in 2023.
He urged them to build their concern in this year’s Ramadan on Peace, Unity, and a successful 2023 elections with the provisions of good leaders.
