A prevalent rate of crime orchestrated by a syndicate group of Young men in Adamawa known as Shila Boys is becoming rampant as they unleashed mayhem to a four hundred level student of computer science.
Adamawa State University Student (ADSU), Alfred Wusa was attacked in Mubi while going into the university premises with his wrist hand almost amputated in an attempt to steal his Mobile Phone.
Wusa who is on admission to Fortland Hospital in Jimeta our corresponded visited his sick bed and manage to narrate the ordeal.
According to him, he was passing by close to a compound (empire) when some young boys brought a sharp adder and smash his hand in an attempt to collect his phone.
The effort to get police reaction was not possible to the filing of this report as the Adamawa state command’s Image maker’s phone, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje was not picked.
But our reporter gathered that one suspect in connection to the crime is arrested.
The suspect who is a female student of the university was arrested yesterday in Mubi after the incident.
