In a significant development, the Adamawa State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is finally on the path to reconciliation. A Committee set up by the Party to address the internal crisis that has plagued the state chapter since the last General Elections has begun sitting, marking a crucial step towards healing the rifts within the party.

The Reconciliation Committee, led by Senator Mohammed Mana, has been mandated to bring together all warring factions within the party, ensuring that they put aside their differences for the collective progress of the APC in Adamawa State.
The committee comprises seven distinguished members, including Senator Mohammed Bello Tukur, His Excellency, Hon. Martins Babale, and Rt. Hon. Yusuf Buba Yakub, among others.
The reconciliation efforts are a welcome development, as the APC has been in opposition in Adamawa State for the last eight years
Following a series of meetings in Abuja, including one held on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, various stakeholder groups of the Party in the State have demonstrated their commitment to resolving the lingering disagreements. These groups include elder statesmen, youth organizations, current political appointees, and elected officials from the State serving at the National Assembly.
The reconciliation efforts are a welcome development, as the APC has been in opposition in Adamawa State for the last eight years. With the Party constituting almost 90% of the most renowned political elite in the State, a united front is crucial for reclaiming their position in the state’s political landscape.

As the Committee continues to broaden its scope of consultation with various stakeholders and leaders of the Party in Adamawa, hopes are high that a lasting solution to the internal crisis will soon be achieved. The people of Adamawa State eagerly await a united and stronger APC, poised to reclaim its rightful place in the state’s politics.
The Seven Man committee which also compromises Senator Abubakar Girei, Senator Binta Masi Garba has since visited the former Governor of Adamawa State, Murtala Nyako, his Son Senator Abdulaziz Nyako, Boss Mustapha, Prof Mamman Tahir, HE Bala James Ngilari and the current Minister of Livestock muktar Maiha.
One of the Mandate of the committee is to visit Adamawa State and have a meeting with all aspirants seeking various positions in the coming 2027 general elections.
The aim which is to unite the party and to ensure it wins all elective offices in 2027 this medium is privy to know is working toes and nails, in and behind the sins to reconcile waring members considering the caliber of the committee and their high level of integrity, trust and political prowess.
