According to our Reporter, Ishaku, who spoke through his Commissioner of Information and Re-orientation, Lois Emmanuel during a Press Conference in Jalingo said Ismaila Yakubu was arrested by the Police at Takum because of his involvement in thuggery activities during a function in the area.

“Samaila Yakubu was arrested in Takum by the Police because he constituted himself into an out-law, causing pains on the daily existence of the people of Takum and environs”, he said.

The Governor also gave another reason why Samaila was arrested maintaining that he led another round of violent disruption of the peace on a day marking the foundation laying ceremony in the same town,  Takum.
