Return Spy Number Plates, violators will not go unchallenged -Adamawa CP warns

In an effort to enforce Inspector General of Police’s (IGP) total banned on the use of spy number plates across state,the Adamawa Police Commissioner, SK Akande advised vehicle users to return such numbers to Yola Police headquarters, office of the PPRO from today, 14th July 2022.

This is sequel to the directives of the IGP Usman Alkali Baba, Psc(+), NPM, fdc, on the total banned of the use of spy number plates without exceptions of either authorized or not .

A Press Release signed by the Command’s Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, ANIPR, said CP SK Akande will not in any where allow Violators and misguided elements to use the spy number plates unchallenged.

The statement however read that the police will not operates in such a way of using force to create scenario that will lead to embarrassment while dealing with those violators but assured that the Command and other security agents will confiscate from anyone found disobeying such order.

“The police Boss further directs Divisional police officers, Operational commanders and their supervisory Area Commanders to immediately enforce the order adding that a task force team that comprises of all security agents will be going round to ensure compliance and equally enforce it.” The statement read
