The strengths and weaknesses of every society is lying in the ability of the Youths in terms of correspondent productive economy activities they replicated in a particular environment. A Society with a sustainable economy and enduring Peace must have sweat making sure the Youths who are they back bone of the society are being provided with an enabling environment to either be contributors of meaningful development or in turn to be the miscreants that will destroy development and hamper the peace and tranquility a particular society enjoys.

The past administration of former Governor Murtala Nyako had wonderfully initiated a Youths centred program scattered across the 21 LGAs that will make sure Adamawa Youths acquired relevant skills and knowledge that will expose them of their God endowed talents. To equip them well and further become gifted entrepreneurs, at long run they can be employers of labour other youths who are looking for jobs.

Billion of Naira earmarked and spend for the purpose of making the acquisition centres of becoming a mind rehabilitation, wealth creation,employment generation and an adventurous areas for the youths to developed themselves.

The idea is to reduce the number of youths roaming in the streets in towns and villages of the state doing nothing, to the extend of becoming menace to the societies and agents of restiveness, and are not adding value to themselves and their respective societies.

Good as it was intended to be the idea was stashed down by the primordial sentiments of political differences, the centres that ought to be the ovums of empowering the youths but succeeded in becoming a hiding place of perpetrating their heinous activities, it became a hide out to even criminals, miscreants, vagabonds and wonderers. And the criminals are the youths who cannot do anything meaningful and productive.

Unfortunately the centres becomes delibidated monuments centres of taken drugs,housing even stray animals and uncoordinated youths turned those places good for nothing centers.

The good intentions of the initiators were destroyed,the wills ended up to be wiles only because there is no continuity in the system,and it succeeded in physically and morally killing some youths who would have been rehabilitated,set free from drug abuses, liberated from the crutches arms of begging (Maula) and free from becoming thieves and professionals armed rubbers.

Not until of recent in a state tour, the executive Governor of Adamawa state, Senator Muhammad Umaru Jibrilla Bindow who is popularly known as Dan Bauwa, meaning a Man endowed with unquantifiable high sense of wisdom visit one of the centre in Guyuk LGA and promised to revive the place and make sure is functioning well that can train the youths in the state to become better people in the society.

It is on record that the working Governor of Adamawa State mapped out a plan of action to initiates empowerment programs purposely for youths and women of the state, he decided to sustain and continuity with some of the past administrations agenda by using the centres built by Nyako Government in the 21 LGAs areas of the state.

This he started by training Over 700 Youths and women mostly IDPs indigenes of Borno and Yobe states are now receiving various empowerment training in Yola the state capital to equip them to be better people in the society.

Governor Bindow is also on tour to access various on going projects and abandoned ones in an effort to revive the ailing projects, bringing continuity and to make sure that sustaining the good policies of the past governments will in no small measures help his administration.

As it’s well known that Youth are either economically and physically the back bone of every society,no country or society is developed without a conscious effort of implementing good agendas that will targets the youths with empowering programs.

In an effort to contribute to development of the youths an Israeli Traveling company and agency known as Taba Tours is planning to embark on a modern Agricultural company in Adamawa State in a sooner possible time.

According to the company Chairman,Mr  Wisam and Shadiya while on a visit to Governor Muhammad Umaru Jibrilla Bindow at his residence in Yola, being led by the Chairman of the Board,Bishop Amos Yohanna & the Executive Secretary (ES) Dr Jinga Lucius Mayo  appreciating the Governor for a well done job of targeting 1500 pilgrims to the holy land.

This is compliment the Governor for considering Taba Tours an adventuring travelling company which is having decades of years of good services to both intending and those waiting pilgrims to Israel for spiritual exercise.

“Your Excellency we are returning this gesture when a 10 Hectare of land will be provided to us to train Adamawa people for modern agriculture.” Wisam said

“Sir we know Nigeria is blessed with arable land waiting for people to explore it, we have come to return the gesture of the training hundreds of people with the new knowledge to acquire new skills on agriculture which in turn will boost the economy of the state and reduce jobless youths roaming the streets. ”

Emphasize that if given the chance they will make Adamawa state a home of agriculture farming and a reference point of modern agriculture in Nigeria.

This is to say that  education is the light  and hub of development that every purposeful government can hold onto for a better state or country. The enduring wisdom of Governor Bindow to implement a state of emergency in education sector of the state is a wisdom in taken the education system of the Adamawa State to an enviable stage. Haven been battered from many attacks done to many schools by Boko Haram insurgents, he promised to give it a serious attention, as this year’s financial budget have seen the sector to have a priority.

Knowing the dwindling nature of the sector in the state, on coming on board as the executive Governor, he bend on to get a seasoned academic and a professor to man the ministry. Since then strategic planning have been putting in place to revive the sicked system.

This year on his wisdom personify nature the Governor shifted councils meetings from government House to LGAs of the state. His first initiated council meeting was In Numan LGA where he visited the famous Vinanova Secondary school, the school that produced the former Governor of the state, Boni Haruna, Former Chief of Defence, Air Marshal Alexander Subunduh Badeh and so many prominent men and women of the state.

Tears of sympathy flooded in his check when he saw the delibidated nature of the school that produced great people who contributed immensely in various works of life. His passion to move the state forward has erupted in him to declare a state of “Emergency on education.”

The dream of having the system on its feet is more of sooner than later as the hard working Executive Secretary of the state Post Primary schools board (Secondary)under the state’s ministry Of Education,Alhaji Adamu Danjuma who is barely six months in office had discovered that the striving nature of the board cannot be what the Governor wanted if teachers teaching in all the secondary schools of the state have not being giving their entitlements,he makes it a duty pay their constituted benefits and entitlement and also taken a deliberate steps to make sure teachers right are not denied.

He promoted Teachers who their promotions have been hanging for donkey of years, he is set to persuade the government to implement new curriculum that has to do with peace,unity and development which will teach the young ones morality and hardworking.

He is in a constant visit to all secondary schools, putting teachers on their toes to work hard in impacting knowledge to the leaders of tomorrow a form of follow up to reduce idleness and laziness by both the teachers and studennts.

The experience Teacher (Adamu) affirms that with Governor Bindow as the Chief executive officer of the state he has no fairs or doubt in fulfilment of the dream, sooner and soonest there is going to be a total turn around in the system.  Calling on all the Teachers to double their efforts to see a vision is realised in the Education sector of the state. Promise to make sure all that is legal theirs are not being temper or denied.
