Immediate past Governor of Adamawa State, Senator Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow was extolled with good qualities of leadership.

The Former Governor was praised by a broadcaster ace Television personality, Alhaji Muhammed El-Yaqub while reading his citation during an award of good leadership said, he is a man with an excellent great personality of good repute.
“The former Governor is a great leader who transformed Adamawa state into a class of beauty because of massive development his government brought.
” A good man with humility as his nature to love all people. He did well as a Senator and governor, doing good is his nature, this is a great Man per excellence.” El-Yaqub said
The award was given to him by a political revolutionary movement group known as black caps in Adamawa.
The award was honoured on him as the most tolerant Governor in the history of Adamawa state.
The former Governor was represented by his deputy Governor, Engr Martins Nasir Babale who thronged the venue of the event, Digital Hall Shagari Quarters in Yola, Adamawa state with former commissioners during his government.
The movement in its maiden 2020 award presentation and honors to have also other prominent sons and daughters of the state.
The 2020 Maidens awards and honors presentation specially recognize the selfless service of Bindow for the people of Adamawa.
The 20th December 2020 program had Prof Bashir Aliyu former DVC, MAUTECH as Chairman of the occasion while the Special guest of honor was Prof Alkassum Abba, former Vice-Chancellor, Adamawa state university Mubi.
MAUTECH Oratory and former Adamawa state commissioner of Tourist and information, Dr. John Ngamsa was the guest of honor.
The Blackcappers as they are fondly called are believed to be an idealist group formed out of the former and pioneer EFCC Chairman, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu to promote the ideals of good governance.
