Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, the National Security Adviser (NSA), has expressed deep shock and sadness over the death of the member representing Ganye state Constituency in Adamawa State house of Assembly, Hon. Abdulmalik Musa Jauro .

He said the death of the lawmaker is a huge loss not only to his immediate family or constituency but to the APC family and the state in general.

Musa died in India on Friday, 24 May, 2024, after prolonged illness and was on Sunday flown back to Ganye, where he was buried according to Islamic rights.

The NSA said he first noticed the lawmaker when Adamawa APC lawmakers paid courtesy visit on him sometimes ago, noting that the lawmaker who was apparently the youngest amongst them spoke the least but with measured and calculated civility.

Ribadu said the APC family will sorely miss late Abdulmalik, whose contributions to the development of democracy, his constituency, and the state could not be overemphasized.

He prayed Allah to repose the soul of the late lawmaker in paradise and give his family members and Ganye people the fortitude to bear the huge loss.
