Ribadu disclaims groups, warns Gov. Fintiri to be wary of political dupers using Tinubu’s name

Nuhu Ribadu, Staunch All Progressives Congress (APC) card carrying member and a critical stakeholder in Adamawa State have disclaimed a group who have used his name and Bola Ahmed Tinubu, party’s Presidential candidate to have collapsed his structure in support for Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.

The group in the name of Ribadu Support group whose coordinator is Alhaji Saidu Aliyu said they have defected to PDP because of what Governor Fintiri is doing in Adamawa state.

Ribadu through his media center released a Press statement signed by Hamisu Njobdi said Saidu is leading an amorphous group of charlatans who are fraudsters dropping the name of Malam Nuhu Ribadu in order to dupe Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.

He said Saidu and his so called group in a bid to play a fast one on the Governor inundated the government house Yola on Monday and claimed to be Nuhu Ribadu’s Support Group and Tinubu Foundation and pledged to support him ahead of the March 11 Guber election.

Condemning the name dropping of Mallam Nuhu Ribadu and warned Governor Fintiri to be wary of dumpers at this time they have discovered he is desperate to win the governorship election.

“For the avoidance of doubt, we wish to state that those organizations: “Nuhu Ribadu Support Group” and “Tinubu Foundation Ribadu” do not exist in our records and the faces seen at the event are more of aliens than humans to our knowledge.

“We consider their actions as a clear case of name dropping and wish to dissociate it entirely, with anything that has to do with Mallam Nuhu Ribadu.

“All structures, groups and organizations of Mallam Nuhu Ribadu remain intact and resolutely working day and night for the victory of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all APC Candidates in the forthcoming elections.

“Their reasons for choosing Ribadu’s name to defraud the Governor and his party is best known to them.” Hamisu said
