….says Gov Fintiri behind the purported poster
Senator Ishaku Elisha Abbo has distanced himself from a viral poster showing him a Governor aspirant with the former pioneer Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu as his running mate (Deputy Governor) on many social media platforms.
The Adamawa Northern Zone Senator who recently defected to All Progressives Congress (APC) said the executive Governor of Adamawa state, Rt Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri behind the purported poster.
He said Fintiri deliberately want to fuel the sour relationship between a Son and a Father existing for many decades, saying that he will never succeed because they are binded together in a cord that can never be broken with a mere propaganda.
According to him Nuhu has been a Father to him and built a cordial relationship over the years that he cannot dare do such a disloyal and disrespectful act and having a poster of that kind is tantamount to humiliating him.
He accused the Governor of fighting Nuhu and him innocently without a genuine course through out his political life.
He questioned that why should Governor Umaru be a serial enemy of Nuhu, the Man that’s never concern about his life and his government?
“Fintiri paid people to cause division, misunderstanding between Father and Son, he knows very well how we are close, in his usual way of mischief he did that to cause rancor between us and among the APC family but thank God Adamawa people knows who he is,” Abbo said
He further said that Fintiri’s loyalists and supporters took to the social media busy planting and concocting the unwarranted poster that does not have any iota of truth.
“He is a small Man, there is nothing he can do other than being mischievous all the time.” He added
When contacted, Governor Fintiri’s Director of Media and Communications, Mr. Solomon Kumangar said what the defected senator said has nothing to do with Ahmadu.
According to him Abbo is now in APC and they should face their issues in APC never involve Fintiri whose is focused on bringing development to Adamawa people and he can’t stoop too low over petty issues.
“Please don’t even bring us to their problem, let him go and face his issue. He is now a member of APC and we wish him well.
