Rivers Governor Fubara Attributes State Crisis to Resource Control Dispute

Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has attributed the ongoing political crisis in the state to a battle for control of resources. Fubara assured that his administration will prioritize judicious use of state assets for the benefit of Rivers people.

Meanwhile, the Rivers State Police Command dismissed rumors of a confrontation between security operatives attached to Fubara and military officers loyal to Minister Nyesom Wike, calling it a false narrative aimed at inciting fear.
