The immediate passed Deputy speaker of Adamawa state House of Assembly (ADHA),Rt. Hon. Lumsambani Mijah Dilli received another awards of excellence as a member who had represented well the people of Demsa Constituency of the State.
Recent award came from a group called, Intercommunity Awareness for Change and Development Initiative, ICACDI. The group presented to the former legislator an award of excellence as an ICON OF DEMOCRACY at the Intis Royal Suites, Abuja.
The group said the former deputy speaker is among the few Nigerians who had received such award as a result of his outstanding performance at the Adamawa State House of Assembly between 2015 to 2019. They said that, they have members across the country who are watching on all the achievements of political leaders, both in the executive and legislative arm of government. The group said it had seen the former legislator’s developmental projects in Demsa Constituency, which stand him the chance of earning the award.
The former All progressives congress (APC) lawmaker among many things will be remember to have brought about human and infrastructural development in all the political wards in Demsa constituency
In his response, the former Adamawa State Deputy Speaker thanked the group for finding him worthy of the award and promised to do more in any capacity he found himself. He also thanked God Almighty for te wisdom given to him to do all that he had impacted in the lives of his constituents when he represent them.
“My appreciation goes to the group for finding me worthy of the award. I promised to do more in any capacity I found myself in the nearest future. I also want to thank God Almighty for the wisdom given to me to do all what I did when I was representing my people.
Special thanks goes to my constituents who without their support, I wouldn’t have received such awards. And also to my colleagues, more especially those who were present at the award presentation.”
Finally, I wish to dedicate the award to the entire people of Demsa Constituency with whom I am well pleased.” Rt. Hon. Lumsambani said.
