The rumours peddling round town the dead of Former Inspector General of Nigeria Police(IG)Alhaji Gambo Jimeta is not true.
The veteran is hale and hearty as confirmed by one of his close relation, Alhaji Suleiman Adamu,an All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain in Yola South.
Suleiman who is the APC Chairman of Yola south and a nephew to Jimeta,closely relate with him on daily basis told this medium that he spoke with him two hours ago.
According to him though is advnaced in age but debunk the rumour in totallity that the Senior man is still kicking well and doing his routine exercises.
”We are surprised to hear the dead of my uncle on Radio not confirming from any member of the family, I’m telling you I called him not more than two hours ago.” Adamu Said
