The President General of the Tsaunin Kura Residents Association (Sabo GRA), Comrade Silas Adamu has extended the duration of the committees inaugurated to fast track development of the community.

According to a statement signed by the Executive PRO of the community, Okpani Jacob Onjewu Dickson, made available on July 19, he announced this when receiving reports from nine committees, which took place on Saturday July 18, 2020.

“Initially, this was meant to be a committee to come up with reports, submit and be dissolved, but I am glad to announce to you that they will remain standing committees that will keep advising the executives on how to effectively implement the recommendations,” he said.

He thanked the committees members for sacrifices made in deliberating and coming forward with submissions that will move the community forward.

Comrade Adamu said he was delighted that within a short period that the executives of the community came on board, huge progress has been made.

“I am optimistic that all our efforts would not go in vain,” he added.

In a vote of thanks, the Vice President General of the community, Mr. Joseph Onoja praised the committees members for submitting detailed reports.

He tasked members of the community to be United, without which he said progress cannot be made.

Some of the committees which submitted reports are; roads and drainages, security, youth, women, media, electricity, waste management and finance.

The legal committee however, appealed for more time to complete and submit its report.
