Honorable Ahmad Sajoh, an All Progressives Congress (APC) Chieftain in Adamawa State has replied Comrade Mustapha Salihu, the APC North East national vice chairman that the Senator representing Adamawa Central Senatorial District, Engr Aishatu Ahmed Dahiru (Binani) was never part of those who were used or instrumental to the impeachment saga of former Governor Murtala Hammenyero Nyako in 2014.
He refuted that it is unfortunate Salihu is using peddlers and bandits of fake news to propagate what is tearing the APC family the more than Uniting.
Sajoh held that he was part and parcel of Nyako’s government and know who exactly perpetrated the impeachment saga through the instrumentality of the State House of Assembly that was having the current Governor of the state, Rt Hon Umar Fintiri as the then speaker.
Sajoh who is the former Chief Press Secretary of Nyako’s Government and immediate past commissioner of information and strategy during Governor Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow’s administration accused the North East National Vice Chairman of APC, Comrade Mustapha Salihu of doing a disservice to the party all these years of his leadership.
He raised an accusing finger to Salihu of breeding the fake news of Binani having a part in the last impeachment saga that befallen the state in 2014.
Sajoh in his efforts to reply Mr Mustapha who is dragging Binani into Nyako’s impeachment to be a Man with a curse than a blessing to the APC family, who under his watch the party lost a sitting Governor, lost two senators and House of Representatives members including a substantial number of state House of Assembly members.
“Senator Binani was not part of any process that led to the impeachment of Nyako, we know those that had hand in the impeachment. I’m aware of what transpired then, and the documents peddling around the involvement of Binani are fake.
” In the documents, they are peddling around, there are names they have faked in the documents and I can tell you without mincing words Binani was never part of the whole saga.
“It was all over the place and at the knowledge of everybody the involvement of the state House of Assembly under the leadership of the current Governor, we know the role the people in the villa played and the money that was exchanged in many hands to have Nyako removed, then tell me how was Binani a party to it? ” Sajoh asked
Lamented how Salihu is issuing vindictive statements unbecoming of someone that is holding APC national office, that is doing more harm than good and the National leadership of the party should intervene before it becomes too late.
He took wipe on Mustapha to have failed in rising to moral pedestrian altitudes as a leader, a unifier who will always bring people together in whatever rancor is happening in a system, but in this regard according to Sajoh Salihu has woefully failed.
He worried that Salihu is doing the direct opposite to the APC family in Adamawa and the entire North East, encouraging internal fights, and causing division in the party.
“I want to call on the national vice chairman to rethink his position, to begin to be the moral voice of APC, this Young Man doesn’t have a good record, and he must accept that.
” The first National Vice Chairman North East convinced a sitting Governor to join APC, the second North East Chairman gave us an elected Governor. But since Salihu became the National Vice Chairman (North East) we lost the Governor, we lost two Senators, lost five House of Representatives out of eight, and we lost the majority in the state House of Assembly.
“That’s not a good record that is happening under his watch as a national leader of the party. I Expect him to unify the party to recapture back the state for APC, but is not getting it right. He is more of a curse than a blessing to our party, this I must confess.” He added
Ahmad who is a commentator on national issues, politics, and national cohesion berated Salihu to hire jobless Youth insulting elder statesmen in the state is a bad leadership creed.
He said it’s unfortunate that Mustapha has released classified documents which are supposed to be high-profile security documents but they have doctored them, using them as another means of denting other politicians Black, it is never in the interest of the Nation, it must be cautioned else every Elder in the country at large will be a victim of Youth men rascality hired by people like Salihu.
He called on the National leader of the party to call Salihu to order else his excesses will bring down APC in Adamawa State.
In the impeachment saga also Senator Abdulaziz Murtala Nyako, who represented the Central zone of the state from 2015 to 2019 praised Senator Binani for always standing by Nyako all these while.
According to him Binani has been a strong supporter of Nyako anywhere she goes and she maintains that to this very time.
He emphasized that only Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri can give a better explanation of those he collaborated with to impeach his father, Murtala Nyako.
“The Only person that can give you a genuine explanation of the impeachment saga during my father’s tenure is Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.
“All I know about Binani is there is no APC meeting she attended that she does not protect the interests of Nyako” Aziz said
