History was made today Wednesday the 24th of August, 2022 in the annals of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations as two sons of the state joined the prestigious rank of Fellows of the Institute.
At a colourful ceremony conducted at the International Conference Centre venue of the 2022 Citizens Summit and Annual General meeting of the Institute two sons of Adamawa state, Hon. Ahmad Ibrahim Sajoh immediate past Commissioner for information/Board Member of NBC, and Muhammed Haruna Ibrahim National President SSANU/ Member of Council NIPR were admitted as Fellows of the NIPR.
The investiture ceremony was presided over by the President and Chairman of Council Mallam Muktar Zubair Sirajo, himself a Fellow of the Institute.
The new Fellows were called upon to preserve and defend the laws and bye laws of the NIPR, observe the code of ethics and professional standards of the Institute as well as uphold the their responsibilities and obligations to the NIPR.
Speaking shortly after the ceremony, Hon. Ahmad Sajoh said this investiture will serve as a tonic to enable him continue to promote the highest standard of Public Relations practice in Nigeria. On his part, Muhammed Haruna Ibrahim expressed gratitude to the President and council for always supporting him as a worthy member of the NIPR council.
Both recipients dedicated the investiture to Allah SWT and to their families who have always stood by them in their various assignments as public relations practitioners.
Present at the occasion and to rejoice with the inductees were the Adamawa State Chairman of NIPR Mallam Usman Ahmed Dadah and the state secretary Mallam Ahmed Isa who was inducted as a Full Member of the Institute. Mallam Ahmed Usman Dadah expressed profound gratitude to the institute for this honour done to the Adamawa state Chapter of the Institute promising that more members will assume higher responsibilities in the future. He promised to ensure the state secures more fellows in the coming years.
