Sallah: Delu, aide to President Tinubu on Humanitarian visits Abuja community, shares meat, cash

As part of humanitarian assistance and generosity, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Hon Delu Bulus Yakubu has reached out to one thousand (1,000) Muslims less privilege in Karshi community of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja with distribution of Sallah meats.

The distribution was done on Monday at the Emir’s Palace, Karshi FCT Abuja, to enable the beneficiaries who were unable to slaughter the sacrificial animals celebrate the Eid-el-Kabir in a festive mood.

While making the presentation, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Hon Delu Bulus Yakubu said the gesture is to show love to the needy which is the cornerstone of the festive season.

“In the spirit of Sallah celebration, we must all take responsibility to look for the needy, I’m here to give hope to the less privileged,” Delu said.

Speaking on behalf of the community, the Emir of Karshi FCT Abuja, Alh Ismaila Mohammed Danladi expressed gratitude to SSA to the President for the visit and wished her well in her undertakings, prayed for tranquility in the country.

The Emir urged citizens to be patience with leadership of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu with the ongoing reforms which will yield positive results.

“I appeal to everybody to go back to farm, even at your backyard, this will reduce the pressure of food crisis that we are going through in the country” Danladi said.

The distribution exercise by the office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation was in collaboration with non-governmental organization ‘Near foundation’ is aimed at touching the lives of Nigerians to give a sense of belonging.

Hon Delu, before making the presentation had paid a royal homage on the Emir of Karshi at his palace.
