A critical stakeholder of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa, Honourable Hamisu Idris Medugu has made a passionate appeal to all Muslim Ummah to sustain their prayers of Peace and undivided Nigeria.

Idris in his Sallah message to mark the Eid-el-Fitr celebration said Nigerians need a proper orientation for them to imbibe the spirit of unity.

He said it’s only Unity and peace that can put the country on the threshold of development and it’s unfortunate that is dividing along these critical socio-economic lines.

Idris sent his greetings to them for going through the thirty days fasting peacefully, especially those from Madagali and other Adamawa communities which were displaced by insecurity some years ago.

While congratulating all Muslims for seeing the end of the 2023 Ramadan Fast, he enjoined them to renew their love and prayers for the country especially since there is going to be a handy over soon.

Idris in his Sallah message made available to our Yola correspondent made a passionate and special appeal to pray for the peaceful conduct of the transition of power that is coming on 29th May 2023.

“If we can only unite ourselves in this country and maximize our economic potential we don’t need any developed country to rely on. We are blessed with all that you can think of to be a giant nation in the world, but lack of unity and political will have all derived us to get to where we ought to have been.” Idris said
