The Member Representing Numan/Demsa/Lamurde Federal constituency in the House of representatives, Rt. Honourable Kwamoti B. La’ori gave food items to Muslims Communities in Adamawa
Alhaji Gali Gyawana who is the distribution committee Chairman disclosed this to news men in Numan where he said the items include Sugar, Rice and cash to help them celebrate the Eid-Fitr.
He says “we are five members of the committee, we are distributing the items in all the branches of Muslims Council in three local government areas of Numan, Demsa and Lamurde.
“Each local government gets 10 bags of Sugar, 20 bags of race, and Lamurde Muslim council branch gets 20k, Demsa gets 15k, Numan 10k for transportation” he said.
While commending the lawmaker on behalf of the branches the chairman of Numan branch, Alhaji Ado Danjuma, said the gesture was highly unprecedented and thanked the lawmaker for remembering the Muslims communities in the area.
You can recalled that the lawmaker distributed farming inputs across the 30 wards of his constituency two months ago to included bags of fertilizers, herbicides, spraying machines and improved seedlings.
In his part, Laori congratulated the Muslim Ummah for a successful completion of this year’s Ramadan fasting season.
