Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, in a press statement Thursday, signed by the D.G. Media and Communications Mr Solomon Kumangar, made available to Tgnews.com said Eid-El-Kabir is a time for forgiveness, generosity, sober reflection and sacrifice, which should also be dedicated to prayers for love and peace to thrive, throughout the Nation.
Governor Ahmadu called on the Muslim Ummah to reflect on the good virtues of peace, patience, tolerance and personal sacrifice as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim (AS) in the forthcoming Eld-El-Kabir Sallah celebration.
While wishing the Ummah entity a joyous occasion, Governor Fintiri the champion of fresh air in governance, reminded everyone on the need to remain each other’s keeper as the anchor for peaceful co-existence.
“EID-EL-KABIR is a time to usher in spirituality, peace, dedication, honesty and generosity, as we match towards a common destiny,” Fintiri said.
The Governor prayed God to spare the lives of citizens to witness more returns of the blessed Day.
Governor Fintiri wished all State Pilgrims in the Holy Land an acceptable pilgrimage, a successful Arafat exercise and thereafter, journey mercies on return.
