Sarkin Fulani Mubi: Sir Kwacham Honoured in Star-Studded Abuja Ceremony

Distinguished leader and philanthropist, Hon. Kwacham Buba Abdurahman, was yesterday conferred with the prestigious traditional title of Sarkin Fulani of Mubi Emirate Council in a colourful and well-attended event hosted at his Abuja residence.

In an emotional statement shortly after receiving the title, the new Sarkin Fulani expressed profound gratitude to the Governor of Adamawa State, Rt. Hon. (Dr) Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, and the Emir of Mubi Emirate Council, His Royal Highness Dr. (Alh) Abubakar Isa Ahmadu CFR, mni, for finding him worthy of the exalted chieftaincy.

“This honour is not for me alone; it is a recognition of our collective efforts in promoting social support initiatives, strengthening community welfare, and implementing programmes that directly improve the quality of life for families across Adamawa State,” Hon. Kwacham said.

He pledged to redouble his humanitarian work, with particular focus on the welfare of women and children in Mubi and surrounding communities.

“This title motivates me to deepen my humanitarian engagements and serve the people with renewed passion and dedication,” he added.

The reception drew an impressive array of dignitaries, traditional rulers, political leaders, business moguls, and well-wishers from across Nigeria, underscoring Hon. Kwacham’s widespread respect and influence.

The new Sarkin Fulani rounded off his remarks by thanking all who travelled from far and near to celebrate with him, asking for their continued prayers and support as he takes on the responsibilities of the title.
