His Highness, Alhaji Dr. Mohammed Abubakar Bambado II, the Sarkin Fulani of Lagos and Chairman, Council of Fulani Chiefs, Southwest Nigeria, has been appointed as the Southwest Patron of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN).
The appointment ceremony took place at Lambamba Hotel, Ibadan, Oyo State, and was attended by Arewa leaders and other tribes from the Southwest region and other parts of the country.
The Sarkin Fulani of Lagos promised to serve MACBAN accordingly
Alhaji Aliyu Bambado, the Galadima of Lagos, expressed gratitude to the government and people of Oyo State for their hospitality and urged the Arewa community to be law-abiding citizens. The Sarkin Fulani of Lagos promised to serve MACBAN accordingly and thanked the people and government of Oyo State for providing a peaceful atmosphere.
The occasion featured Fulani cultural dances and delicacies, including Fura da Nono, which was appreciated by the Kanuri community. Mallam (Dr) Ahmed Isa Jimeta, Kakaki of Arewa Council of Chiefs, Lagos, congratulated the Sarkin Fulani of Lagos on his well-deserved appointment and thanked leaders of the Arewa Council of Chiefs, Lagos, for their support towards peace, unity, and development of the Arewa community.
