S’court: ADWILD, Women group Congratulates Fintiri, promises constant support

Women in Adamawa has promised to support the administration of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri to the very end.

The women under an umbrella of Adamawa Women initiative for leadership and development (ADWILD), a non governmental Organisation comprising women who are passionate about contributing to the Development of the state congratulated Fintiri.

The president of the women group, Hon Mrs Marlyn Babayi signed a press statement and reiterated that the supreme Court judgment is a success story to all Adamawa State Indigenes, especially to ADWILD who are always seeking to promote women’s participation in politics, leadership and governance.

While celebrating the victory, ADWILD group congratulated Fintiri and his Deputy Governor, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta, a woman who is strongly behind a Man in making giant strides of development in Adamawa.

The women who are advocates of good governance have pledged unwavering loyalty and support in giving their best to develop the Adamawa State.

“We call on all citizens, especially Women in all the twenty one Local Government areas of the State to support this Government so that we’ll continue to enjoy the fruits of Democracy.

We’re grateful to you once again for giving us a Woman as Your running mate and the confidence you always reposed on her to carry out crucial assessments in the interest of our dear state

“Sir, we are happy that the judgement was pronounced in your favor because you were truly voted by the popular majority and the victory is all ours and every Adamawa indigenes.” The statement read.
