A Founding Member and Pioneer North East Vice Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Hon Umar Duhu has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his Vice, Senator Kashim Shetima for winning the supreme court case instituted against them by the PDP, LP opposition candidates.
Duhu praised the outcome of the judgment and described it as a success story of the Nigerian Appellate Court building the country’s democracy.
According to him the votes polled by Tinubu are now sacrosanct and stand the test of time against any court litigation, and will no longer be challenged by whatever reason.
He stressed that the votes were tested and found trusted in the court of law and became genuine for anyone to question both within and in the eyes of international communities.
He argued that from now on controversies surrounding the candidacy or the character of President Tinubu has ended because the Appellate Court has vindicated and found him worthy, innocent of all accusations.
The Adamawa State Critical stakeholder appealed to President Tinubu to extend an olive hand of friendship to patriotic Nigerians who are willing to support him in developing the country.
While celebrating the victory of the six-months trials of the election petitioned by Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of PDP, and Peter Obi of the Labour Party, Umar enjoined them to take the good morals that the destiny of any mortal is in the hand of God.
