Following the ruling of a High Court judgement in Yola barred Senator Aisha Dahiru Ahmed Bodibbo (Binani) from Parading herself to be the All progressives Congress, APC, gubernatorial candidate in Adamawa State.

Binani stepped aside from being the Adamawa state coordinator of the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) of the party and faced the court case before her.

The Adamawa Central senator on getting judgment wrote Rt Hon Simon Bako Lalong, the director general of the Presidential campaign council (,PCC) on the position of PCC, Adamawa state.

In her letter copied to Rt Hon James Biodun Faleke seeking his attention says:

“You would recall by your letter of appointment dated 26th September, where I was appointed pcc state coordinator being the governorship candidate in the state.

“In the course of our preparation for the composition of Adamawa state campaign council, during which I widely consulted your office, suddenly, the federal high court in Yola, through its pronouncement on 14th October,2022 ruled that I was no longer the candidate, indeed, the party was by that judgment denied participation in the governorship election. Thus all parties in the case filed an appeal in the court of appeal.

“In the circumstances, I wrote to the PCC indicating my stepping aside as the coordinator in view of the fact that high court had nullified our primaries and the need for me to concentrate on the appeal case”
