The immediate past Governor of Adamawa State, Senator Muhammadu Umaru Jibrila Bindow stormed Yola amidst cheering crowds at Yola international airport.
Former Principal Special Assistant to Bindow, Alhaji Nurudeen Kama told this medium that the former Governor had a brief stay in Yola where he paid condolence visit to the family of Dr Mahmud Tukur, former Minister of Education.

Kama further said senator Bindow after the condolence visit traveled to Mubi, his hometown to participate in the 2021 Ramadan Fast.
According to Nurudeen kama, Jibrilla is a Man with a good virtues of leadership and still being loved by Adamawa people.
“No political leader understood the significance of Ramadan like His Excellency Distinguished Senator Muhammad Umar Jibrilla Bindow because at the time when some political leaders are running away from their people in order to escape pressures and responsibilities, that’s the moment Bindow decides to share with his people.
“It is however not a coincidence that he chose to observe the Ramadan at his country home of Mubi which is notably his political base despite the fact that the entire state is his constituency.” Kama said
Kama continue to say that the singular action of Umar is having so much significance in the spiritual aspect of Ramadan because it is an act of worship that it is mandatory on all adult Muslim devoid of one’s social or financial status.
“Furthermore, this gesture will give him an opportunity to interface with his people, share their thirst and hunger, pray and worship together then be blessed together. Bindow is not perfect but he is a man of uncommon humility.
” The Governor wishes the entire Muslim Ummah a fruitful Ramadan and prays for Allah SWT to accept our supplications, prayers and worship.” He added
