The former Governor of Adamawa State, Senator Muhammad Umaru Jibrilla Bindow has commiserated with the family of his late Chief of protocol Alhaji Ahmed Mahmud.
In a statement signed by his Senior Special Assistant on Media & Publicity, Martins Dickson, Senator Jibrilla described late Mahmud as a very humble and hard working man.

Bindow added that “Late Mahmoud’s commitment to duty and sense of responsibility is worthy of emulation, the younger generation will miss his mentorship and experience”.
Late Alhaji Ahmed Mahmud was Senator Jibrilla’s Chief of protocol throughout is 4 year tenure as Governor. Late Mahmud has been protocol Officer to different Military Governors and also during the Nyako regime.
Late Mahmud died in the early hours of Monday 18th November, 2019 in Abuja.
He will be buried after Zuhr prayers at the national mosque Abuja.ud
