Senator Abbas Empowers Constituents with Renewable Energy Skills

In a bid to equip youths with relevant skills for the modern era, Senator Aminu Iya Abbas, representing Adamawa Central Senatorial District, has organized a five-day intensive training on solar power installation and maintenance.

The training, which took place at the NUT House in Yola, was attended by 50 youths selected from across the constituency

According to Senator Abbas, the training aims to provide youths with renewable energy skills, enabling them to stay abreast of changing times. The beneficiaries, drawn from seven local government areas, will receive start-up tools after the training to assist them in training others and maintaining solar systems.

Facilitators and local government officials praised Senator Abbas for his commitment to empowering youths with various skills, making them self-reliant. The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the senator, stating that they had acquired valuable skills in solar power installation and maintenance.
