The appearance of Senator Ishaku Abbo and Mrs. Minso Kwagga Wange (Bright) on Ordinary President’s Brekete Family show over adult tapes (sex scandals) has laid to rest many high tempers, and a seemingly successful mediation by Ahmed Isah has ensured an end to the ugly trend of the sex saga.
Mrs. Minso, after hearing Senator Abbo’s side of the story, begged for forgiveness and apologized for all wrongs she had done to him. On the show, Mrs. Minso admitted that Senator Abbo had been good and supportive of her over the years.

The former federal lawmaker representing Adamawa North Senatorial District in the ninth assembly refuted all claims of having any sex affairs, stating that the viral video on social media was not him. Abbo’s appearance was streamed live on Facebook, during which he provided videos and documents to the show’s anchor, Ahmed Isah, aka Ordinary President, to prove his innocence.

The former lawmaker, through his lawyers, had earlier issued a 72-hour ultimatum for her to apologize and withdraw the allegations.

The letter, written by his lawyer, read: “We have been instructed by our client to make a demand, and we hereby formally request that within 72 hours of receiving this letter, you publish or air an unequivocal public retraction and apology on national TV and in three national newspapers. The terms of this retraction must be approved by our firm, and we expect you to revert to us within 24 hours of receipt of this letter.”

The letter added that failure to meet the deadline would result in legal action, including claims for libel, an injunction to prevent further publication, and a court-ordered public apology.
