Senator Ishaku Elisha Abbo to Grace Emmanuel Lutheran Church’s Annual Harvest and Thanksgiving Service as Special Guest of Honour
Emmanuel Lutheran Church, located in LCC No. 10, Jambutu, Gerio District, Wamblai Division under the Yola Diocese, is preparing for its highly anticipated 2024 Annual Harvest and Thanksgiving Service. The event is scheduled for Sunday, December 1, 2024, and will commence at 8:00 AM in the Church Auditorium.

This year’s theme, “Harvest of Favour,” inspired by Genesis Chapter 4, Verse 4, promises an uplifting morning of worship and reflection. The service will be presided over by esteemed leaders from the church and community, including Dr. Paul S. Margwa as chairman and Mrs. Regina Emmanuel as chairlady.

The role of Chief Harvester will be fulfilled by Hon. Ezekiel Joseph, supported by Co-Harvesters Chief Maurice Vinobolki and Hon. Umar Nashon Gobi. A highlight of this year’s celebration is the presence of the Special Guest of Honour, Distinguished Senator Ishaku Elisha Abbo, a devoted Christian and champion of faith-based initiatives.
Senator Abbo has earned numerous accolades from reputable Christian bodies for his commitment to community welfare and propagating the gospel. His presence at the event is highly anticipated, and his inspirational words are expected to uplift and motivate the congregation.
The service will also feature Guest Minister Rt. Rev. Amos J. K. Yakubu (Emeritus) and Host Minister Dean Rev. Ishaku S. Gideon, leading the congregation in a celebration of faith, fellowship, and gratitude.
