Moved by a video showcasing two beggars and their desire to leave their uncivilized way of life, Senator Ishaku Abbo (SIA) donated one million Naira to the duo.
The video, created by Teaser Frank, highlighted the beggars’ plight and sparked Senator Abbo’s act of kindness.
Teaser Frank credited Senator Abbo, a former lawmaker represented the Adamawa Northern Senatorial District, for his generosity.
To make the presentation public, Teaser Frank took one of the beggars to Access Bank, withdrew the money, and handed it over to them.
The video sparked an outpouring of praise, with hundreds of comments commending Senator Abbo’s selfless act. Many took to social media to express their admiration, including:

When contacted, Senator Abbo said his goal was to help the beggars leave the streets and start a meaningful life, changing their destiny.
I pray my little act of kindness will go a long way in changing their lives for the better.
He emphasized the importance of human development and contributing to building the nation.
Senator Abbo expressed concern about the country’s economic state, which has forced many to live below their standard. “Hunger is everywhere, biting harder than we expect.
I pray my little act of kindness will go a long way in changing their lives for the better.
