In a strategic move to bolster his media outreach and enhance public engagement, Senator Anthony Siyako Yaro, who represents Gombe South Senatorial District, has unveiled the appointment of seven new media aides. The announcement, made during a press briefing at his Gombe office, is aimed at improving communication with constituents and ensuring wider dissemination of his legislative activities and policies.

The newly appointed media aides come equipped with diverse skill sets that promise to significantly uplift Senator Yaro’s media strategy. Their expertise spans various domains, from social media monitoring to strategic communications, reflecting a comprehensive approach to managing public relations and media engagement.

The New Media Team is comprised of highly skilled individuals, each bringing their unique expertise to the table. Daniel Yaro, a proficient researcher and data analyst, will facilitate evidence-based communication of the Senator’s initiatives through his strong expertise in statistics.

Jerry Maisamari Raymond, with his wealth of experience in crafting effective social media strategies, will be pivotal in enhancing the Senator’s online presence and engagement. Ibrahim Adamu Abare’s deep understanding of the Hausa-speaking community will aid in addressing local issues and ensuring the Senator’s messages resonate with this demographic.

Umaru Maaji Gelengu, an accomplished journalist, will oversee English media communications, amplifying the Senator’s voice across diverse platforms. Jalo Enoch, a committed advocate for gender equality, will help the Senator highlight issues affecting women and girls through his background in developing inclusive programs. Sina Usman Dalawaja will support the team with insightful research, informing the Senator’s communication strategies through his expertise in Strategic Information Gathering. Lastly, Yahaya Joel Musa, or Jojo, will shape the Senator’s public image and effectively convey key messages through his skills in crafting compelling narratives and managing media relations.

The newly appointed aides will be responsible for a range of tasks, including managing the Senator’s media presence, crafting press releases, and serving as liaisons between the Senator’s office and the public.
