Recognizing the spiritual and communal importance of these seasons, the senator initiated a distribution of essential food items to support fasting households across the nine Local Government Areas (LGAs) in his district: Demsa, Ganye, Guyuk, Jada, Lamurde, Mayo-Belwa, Numan, Shelleng, and Toungo.

To ensure transparent and targeted delivery, Senator Yaroe collaborated with the leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and the Muslim Council, who will oversee distribution to genuine beneficiaries.

At the flag-off ceremony, where representatives from the nine LGAs gathered, the senator represented by his Campaign Director-General, Mr. Katawan Boniface described the occasion as a pivotal moment for both faiths. He urged believers to use the season to pray for peaceful coexistence among communities.

The distribution included substantial quantities of staple items: no fewer than 1,170 bags of rice, 900 bags of sugar, 450 cartons of spaghetti, 144 cartons of vegetable oil, and other food essentials.

Breaking it down per LGA, each of the nine areas received; 130 bags of rice (totaling 1,170 bags); 100 bags of sugar (totaling 900 bags); 50 cartons of spaghetti (totaling 450 cartons); 16 gallons/cartons of vegetable oil (totaling 144).

“These items are specifically meant for the less privileged in our society,” the representative emphasized, highlighting the senator’s ongoing commitment to bringing relief and joy to constituents year-round.

He described Senator Binos as a sincere and honest leader dedicated to his people’s welfare, noting that the supplies would greatly assist Muslims during Ramadan.

Bro. Chris Simon, Secretary of CAN in Mayo-Belwa LGA, called the support timely amid the Lenten observance. He thanked the senator and assured that CAN would ensure fair distribution to the needy while continuing to pray for the senator’s aspirations.

Mal. Abubakar Mohammed Bolto, Chairman of People Living With Disabilities (PLWDs), expressed heartfelt joy at being prioritized. He appealed for continued consideration during future festivities and confirmed that the items would be shared equitably among members, both Christian and Muslim.

This initiative aligns with Senator Binos Dauda Yaroe’s consistent track record of supporting constituents during religious and festive periods, reinforcing his dedication to uplifting the vulnerable across Adamawa Southern Senatorial District.
