TRIBUTE:
Uncle Tim as I fondly called him, was a man you could never ignore at any occasion.

He had this captivating mien that draws you to him, and once you engage him in a discussion, you are sure to always take home a tangible word of wisdom.
He was a consummate and thorough bred Journalist of our time.
But the Spiritual mystery of life and death chose not to leave him to stay much longer with us as we would have wished.
He lived solely on his faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.
I remembered when I last visited him at the hospital in Abuja, his faith in God was very ferocious, even on his sick bed.
He fought a good fight of faith, and has finished his race, he has kept the faith.
Now there is in store for him a crown of righteousness…Timothy 2, 4:7.
An Iroko tree has indeed fallen, a monumental loss to his family, the Bwatye race, and to Nigeria nation.
We submit to the total will of God our Creator in this period of mourning.
My heart goes to his family at this moment of grief; May God grant everyone the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
Uncle Tim, rest on eternally with your Maker; Adieu…Senator Grace F. J. Bent, CON
