Senator Iya Abbas Mourns Ex-Lawmaker Jerry Kundisi

Senator Aminu Iya Abbas, representing Adamawa Central Senatorial District, has expressed deep regret over the passing of former lawmaker, Hon. Jerry Kundisi, who represented Gombi constituency.

In a condolence message, Senator Abbas described Kundisi as a colleague, friend, brother, confidant, and reliable stakeholder who shared common views on the welfare of citizens and progress of the central zone and the state.

The Senator condoled with the Adamawa State Government, the people of Adamawa Central Senatorial District, Gombi Local Government Area, and their former colleagues in the Adamawa State House of Assembly

Abbas, who served as Speaker of the 7th Assembly, worked with Kundisi in the Fifth Assembly from 2011 to 2015. He praised Kundisi’s remarkable accomplishments and prayed for God’s forgiveness for his shortcomings.

The Senator condoled with the Adamawa State Government, the people of Adamawa Central Senatorial District, Gombi Local Government Area, and their former colleagues in the Adamawa State House of Assembly.

Kundisi, fondly called “Field Marshall” by his colleagues, passed away at the age of 65. Senator Abbas urged his family to be consoled by his legacy and accomplishments.

The news of Kundisi’s demise has sent shockwaves across the state, with many mourning the loss of a dedicated public servant.
