An All progressive Congress (APC),senatorial aspirant from Adamawa senatorial zone, Mallam Salihu Garban Mama,has commended president Mohammadu Buhari,for salvaging the North east region from the scourge of Boko Haram activities.
Mallam Garban mama,a programmer and an Information Technology(IT) expert who made the commendation on an interview with journalists in Yola, said that it was only a leader with good will and with experience like Buhari to have taking active steps to halt down the devestating effect of Boko Haram insurgency.
He revealed that within the past three years,the Buhari government dismantled Bokon Haram and crushed down the effects of their operation within the north East region.
He recalled that in the past six to
Seven years, Boko Haram had leashed a real of terror on the defenseless people at the North east,killing and plagued the future of the Area with their evil work.
Garban mama,said if elected as senator to reprents Adamawa central zone,he will put a necessary machinery that will make it possible for the youths in his constituency to be more productive to their various communities.
He said that empowering the youths to be useful is one of the leading key agenda that he prioritise to do knowing the fact that the youths constitute an important part to the social economic development of any community.
Salihu in his efforts to deal with Youths redundancy he organized a social media training for fourty five (45) youths on how to have the best form of social media as youths are the patronisers of the internet technology.
According to him the workshop will later translate to economy gains and reducing the hate speech the Social media is bringing.
He promised the people of Adamawa central that as if he is giving the mandate youths and women will be trained in various vocational jobs by acquiring relevant professional skills that will make them self reliance.
”I will give special attention to Education,many windows and doors will be created for those questing for schools at higher level with various scholarship program at their disposal.” He said
He also revealed that his campaign team has established a viable unit in the seven Local Government areas that made up the Central senatorial zone to supervise and coordinate the youths empowerment program.
“When the youths are fully trained to became business enterprise, it will surely reduce the over dependence on the little subvention that the state government gets from the federal allocation ,which it can only pay salaries and cannot any other thing.” He added
While appreciating the ruling party in place (APC) he commend Governor Mohammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow for infrastureral developing in the area of road constructions and call for massive support for Bindow in 2019.
