I feel obligatory to write and appreciate the fact that the huge successes and achievements recorded by Muhammad Buhari’s administration is greatly influenced and contributed by Mr. Synergy, the SGF.
These great attributes of the SGF includes; the timely delivery of assignments, services, and projects to the nation.
Also the enhanced synergy in the inter-ministerial agencies and departments of the government and the 21st century unique administrative handling styles has brought the unprecedented changes and the socio-economic development to the country – Nigeria which is as a result of the cosmopolitan nature of the workaholic and versatile SGF Mustapha.
Retrospectively, the SGF has enjoyed cordial touch with the grassroots right from his political inception. Most importantly, the SGF, at the age of 29, served as a State Party Chairman of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) the then national party.
Thereafter, the SGF Boss Mustapha also contested the governorship seat of the State – Adamawa under the platform of the SDP alongside Late Alh. Sale Michika the movement that has kept his campaign structure intact to date.
Furthermore, to cap it all, until the SGF’s appointment as the Managing Director of National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), he was the National Vice Chairman of the defunct All Congress of Nigeria (ACN) the mega party that metamorphosed to the emergence of All Progressives Congress (APC) of today.
These achievements amongst many others of the field political experiences and encounters of the SGF is that he is a renown legal luminary with an impeccable pedigree and immense integrity. A highly meticulous gentleman and result driven.
Thus, I feel the perfect definition of a grassroots politician should be the SGF or nobody else, and anybody or group of people misrepresenting this fact is proving his/her own ignorance and lack of objective journalism and a blurred binocular view of the SGF and his antecedence.
I am sure the Party is much aware of the immense support and contributions of the SGF most especially in the on going APC Adamawa State Reconciliation Committee which without his support, contributions, and commitment such great success wouldn’t have been possible. This singular action, has proven the SGF as a Party man and hitherto a grassroots man too.
Additionally, the participation of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Adamawa State chapter in the December 7th purported Adamawa State Local Government Elections was solely the effort of the SGF, Boss Mustapha and the successes achieved therewith.
Consequently, the SGF, is busy, committed and head bent on delivering the huge task and responsibilities of his office assigned to him by his boss, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The SGF finds it distracting and uncalled for, for the speculations going rounds that he may be nursing a political ambition of either running as a Governor or Vice President. I personally wish to dispell this information and regards it as a cheap blackmail which is unfounded. Afterall the journey to the next level has just begun.
I am sure, the SGF, Boss Mustapha is after quality service delivery to Nigerians. Not some road side distractions under whatever guise for some obvious selfish interest. While we know that we are in a democracy and everybody is entitled to his/her opinion, but constructive, healthy predictions of political discourse should be encouraged.
Finally, I on behalf of the less priveledged, downtrodden, and the vulnerables wish to commend and sincerely appreciate the good efforts of the SGF towards the numerous interventions, empowerments and supports rendered to Nigerians. Most especially to the good people of Adamawa State.
We at the grassroots are proud of him and will always celebrate him.
