SGF Boss promises Adamawa Youth the establishment of a Development Center

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Barr Boss Mustapha had disclosed his plans to establish Youth Development Centre in Adamawa State.

He made this known to the Youths of Kubtava village of Hong Local Government Area of the State that came in hundreds while on Federal Government projects’ inspection and monitoring tour within the State.

The SGF told the cheering Youth that efforts have been put in place to establish one of the best Youth Development Centres in the State.

The SGF during his remark “told the Youths that the Center when fully establish will have the capacity to train and graduate between 300 to 400 Youths of the State.

He said the graduating period is three to four months with robust capacity building towards harnessing the chunk of Youth who are potential leaders and business tycoons.

According to him this day’s skills pays more than a certificate which is why he is encouraging the establishment of such a center.

He also said that the Youth should support the Government, and the government will continue to do its best in adding value to its citizens

Mustapha called on them to shun drug abuse and other forms of social vices, describing such a lifestyle as unhealthy and condemnable.

He warned them that no one had ever succeeded in life through drug abuse or hooliganism. Hence, they need not venture into it.

He advised the Youths to take full possession of the laudable Federal Government’s initiatives and projects executed and the ongoing ones through proper monitoring, inspection, and management.

You would recall that the development was part of the 3-day official working visit of the SGF to the State alongside the Former Minister of State Works and Housing, Engr. Mu’azu Jaji Sambo now the Minister for Transportation, Prof. Tahir Mamman SAN, OON, the former director-General of Nigeria Law School, Hon. Yusuf Captain Buba, the Member Representing Hong/Gombi Federal Constituency, is also a seasoned technocrat Mr. Daniel Richard, a medical expert with decades of experience in the Middle East and North Africa, Dr. Nuhu Maksha, Engr. Nimrod Musa, a highway construction consultant and the Controller, FERMA Adamawa State, alongside a staff of the Federal Ministry of Works and housing to commiserate with the Government and people of Adamawa State over the death of the OPECSecretary-General, Mr. Sanusi Barkind,o and the EYN Church leadership, over the gruesome murder of the two sons of Rev. Daniel Umaru.

Boss was also in Yola to inspect and ascertain real-time the status of the FG Awarded contract of the Yola-Mubi road which the Federal Executive Council had earlier approved for the Revised Estimated Cost of the Project.

The SGF made some observations towards getting the best construction work and gave the contractor two weeks’ ultimatum to return to the site.
