The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, has expressed shock and sadness over the death of Dr. Ibrahim Mantu, former Deputy Senate President from 2003-2007.

Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation described the late Mantu as a forthright individual who made his mark in the political landscape of the country.
He noted his patriotic zeal in his contributions towards the enactment of various laws which has contributed in no small measure to the overall development of the country.
SGF commiserates with the Government and people of Plateau State, his family and political associates and prays to God to grant the deceased Al-Jannah Firdaus.
