Shamad Looting: Rice Miller says thugs in Adamawa raid company,carts away goods for up-takers

..refutes rumours of hoarding good as a business company

The Chief Executive officer of Shamad Concept Nigeria Ltd, Alhaji Mohammed Sadiq has told newsmen in Yola that hoodlums carted away hoarded parboiled rice recently processed for their Major Up-takers in and outside Adamawa state.

According to him Shamad being a private company set up for business purpose has on Sunday raided by some hoodlums and carted away 10,615 bags of rice worth N188,465,000.

He said that the Youths has no good reason to visit the company which belongs to an individual,diviated from the initial main aim of #endsars movement

“In Adamawa the youth have constituted themselves to miscreants and hooligans going to government and private organizations warehouses to burgle.” Sadiq said

Sadiq, however, dispelled any rumour of hoarding good unduly said their major up takers and business partners are NGOs and refugees commissions and the Carted away processed Rice awaiting to get any prospective major buyer.

Mohammed worried that the company which is located at Bakin Kogi, a riverside community in Yola North local government area (LGA) will take a long time before it will recover from the wreckage of well done by the hoodlums

Our correspondent recalls that thugs first broke into government warehouses in and around the state capital, Yola, in the morning of Sunday, October 25 and took away all they could find, prompting Governor Ahmadu Fintiri to impose a curfew which took effect from 3 pm Sunday.

The thugs had however defied the curfew, breaking into more government establishments and later veered by Sunday evening into private establishments, including Shemad Concept Ltd.
