The Presidential Vice President of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Party Senator Kashim Shettima paid a surprise visit to former Governor of Adamawa State, Senator Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow.
Shettima in an entourage of notable party men and his political associates went to Bindow’s house in Abuja and solicited his support for the 2023 general elections.
According to Kashim that the immediate past Governor should not nurse any plans of leaving the party because he has labored so much for it.
He said Jibrilla is needed in the party now more than any other time and his staying in the party will boost chances of consolidating the APC chances of winning the 2023 elections.
He further said that is aware he has gone through a lot of pains because of the party’s internal feuds but assure him of uniting all APC members in the state.
Shettima extolled Umaru for being a man with the virtue of love for humanity, he said the former Governor’s special love for his mother is a good example for people to learn.
“My Brother you have labored so much for this party, I can’t watch you leaving us, we are together on the mission of winning the 2023 election.
” I Commend the way and manner you love your Mother, it is a lesson for all of us to learn.” Shettima
